A native of Northern Michigan, Mandora obtained her
cosmetology training and an A.A.S at Ferris State University. Mandora
then returned to Traverse City to begin her career. During this time she
studied in Windsor, Ontario, Minneapolis, and Baton Rouge.
After four and a half years working as a stylist,
Mandora wanted to explore other options within the industry. She moved,
and spent two and a half years in Orlando, Florida working as a salon
stylist and make-up artist/stylist for print and video work. during this
time she studied at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London.
Mandora then moved to Chicago, Illinois and worked as
a stylist, as well as an inter-salon educator.
Six years later, she and her family came full circle,
returning to northern Michigan. Since 1996, she has been working as a
stylist in Traverse City, attending hair shows, and participating in
seminars. At this time, Mandora is focusing her energy on advanced
education and becoming an educator, in conjunction with her salon
work.
