Nanette has spent the last 26 years in the hair industry and loves every minute of it, from servicing clients to educating other hairstylist. Over the years she has kept up on changing trends and styles by getting the best training available. Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, England and Toronto, Canada has been the highlight of her learning experience. She has attended numerous times embracing what the best has to offer.

During her career, Aveda has always been the company that she has remained loyal to. Their continuing education from product knowledge, to hair cutting, coloring, perming and make-up has helped her become a well-rounded stylist with plenty of experience. For 14 years she worked in the Birmingham and Royal Oak areas doing hair in some of the most prestigious salons. During this time, she was also educating stylist in the use of hair color.

Currently living in Suttons Bay with her husband and pets, she still shares the love of the craft. She has been an Aveda in-salon color coach for Epiphany Salon for the last three years. This involves taking a two-day class from the Aveda pure-fessionals in the spring and fall, learning the latest trends and returning to the salon to teach the looks. She also works behind the chair five days a week, mentoring at Epiphany East two of those days.
